Hello world,
The Zurich Building Department has chosen me to work on the new Tilia residential home and I feel honoured to be able to tackle this project.
The Zurich Department of Buildings has chosen me to participate in the construction of the Tilia Residence, and I am honored to take on this project. This collaboration between art and construction fits perfectly into the ethos of WohnheimTilia, an institution that offers people with kognitive and psychic disabilities a supportive living environment and meaningful work opportunities.
WohnheimTilia, about which you can read more here (German only), aims to improve the quality of life of its residents. It offers them an environment in which independence and autonomy are promoted.
The project "Tun", awarded by the Committee for Art in Architecture, is a proof of the possibility of collaboration between art and social projects. The aim is not only to create aesthetically appealing interventions in the home, but also to work actively with the residents to give them a sense of success and self-worth.
In the coming year, I would like to immerse myself in the daily life of the Tilia residence, because I am convinced that true understanding and meaningful art come from real relationships. By capturing their activities in black-and-white photographs, I want to show the independence and importance of their contributions to the community.
This project represents the harmonious synergy between art, architecture and social responsibility. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a transformative project that not only celebrates creativity, but also works for the well-being and empowerment of the people at the center of WohnheimTilia.
