For tilia Wohnen & Beschäftigung, artist Tanja Boukal has realised the photographic installation "Tun", which focuses on the residents of the residential home.
Before starting her work, she lived with the residents for several weeks in order to involve them in the artistic process. The black and white photographs, which were printed directly onto walls and surfaces in the building, show what the residents do with their hands. Through these calm images, Boukal creates a harmonious and authentic representation of the residents' everyday lives.
